23 Weeks Pregnant

July 11, 2012

So pretty much the same symptoms as the previous weeks, but the baby is moving a lot more. Danny has felt it, and it is such an amazing feeling to both of us. Other people are able to put their hand on my belly and feel the baby moving around. I am still very anxious to find out the sex, if we even get to. It all depends on the baby, hopefully s/he lets us see next time! Our appointment is on the 23rd of this month. I am excited.

I don't have any stretch marks on my stomach or sides. I do have a few on my boobs, though. They aren't very noticeable at all. I had to look very hard, and I purposely tried to find them. My boobs have gotten so much bigger, and I figured I HAVE to have a few stretch marks on them. They are not red or purple or any other dark color like that, they are my skin tone. And like I said, they are very small, you can't even see them unless you're looking for them.
We only have a few more months left, and Danny and I are so excited. I am still planning on having a natural birth. I am hoping for a water birth, but I need to find an area that has that option. Thank you for all of the support, and I love all of you guys.   The photo is from the end of week 23, so practically week 24, but this will suffice.

  1. The stretch marks are inevitable -_- shine your phone or some irredescent lighting on your stomach I'm sure you'll find them, look underneath your belly where your pelvis bone and belly connect. When you get closer to your due Date in your third trimester that's when you'll see your stretch marks.

    1. they are not always inevitable, I know quite a few women who haven't gotten stretch marks on their bellies, I know a girl who got some on her thighs but nowhere else. Everyone is different. :) Just because you got them doesn't mean every pregnant woman will.

  2. You are really naive -_- don't believe everything people tell you about pregnancy. Nor everything you read.

    1. Lol, if I am naive, you are ignorant. I didn't say I believed what I heard... I believed what I SAW! I KNOW people (yes, REAL people) who haven't gotten stretch marks on their stomachs. And I'm naive because of that? Because of the TRUTH? Ha. Honey, I think you're the one who is naive. About 80% of pregnant women get stretch marks. That's not ALL pregnant women. Do your research, dear. GOODBYE

    2. Also, little anonymous hiding person, don't you think you're contradicting yourself?! You are sitting here trying to make me think that EVERY pregnant woman gets stretch marks, and then you tell me not to believe everything people tell me.

That's the difference between you and the girls I know who have had kids and didn't get stretch marks... They actually have proof of their stomachs with no marks, and it's even a statistical fact! You are just talking out of your ass and I really don't appreciate it.

  3. Aww Lib you're definately carrying more out front I think! You're so adorable. Your baby is going to have the coolest mommy (next to mine xD) lol =)

Anonymous: Did you come all the way to her blog just to troll her about the imperfections of women? No one is the same. Sorry you got stretch marks, but you shouldn't be so bitter just because Liberty doesn't have any really noticeable ones and you (apparently) do. But then again, don't believe everything you read. xP

  5. Why would I argue with a 19 year old whose never gone through the whole pregnancy. And Hunny that's them, not you. You can hope and pray, and use any kind of creams, moisterizers, etc you want, but these products and regardless how healthy you eat, will only diminish the color and size of stretch marks. Not prevent them completely. You really are an idiot to be calling someone whose gone and complete the whole nine months. Again those are your friends whom have gotten those results, keep hoping and prayin Hun with your small figure you may not have much baby weight left over, but with as much growing and stretching your skins gonna do with a baby inside you will be getting stretch marks don't rely on people's own experiences with your own. You shouldn't rely on what people tell you, that only makes you more ignorant and naive than I am.

    1. Really? Why would you argue? "Hunny", you ARE arguing. Also, I am 20, HUN. Never did I say I won't get stretch marks, NOR did I say I CARE. I have said countless times that I DON'T care whether or not I get them. BECAUSE I know that in the end I will have an amazing gift! :) I don't know why you think I need to "hope and pray" I won't get stretch marks, I am totally fine with what my body decides to do, all I ever said was I haven't gotten them YET. Holy hell. Are you jealous or something? If you are a mother, you might want to act a little more mature, because I never claimed I wasn't going to get them, and you keep assuming that I have. Hahah. I am sure you will find out what happens though, I plan on talking all about it in a video after I have the baby.

Also, like I said, EVERYONE is different. I'm an idiot for telling you these things when you've gone through a whole 9 months of pregnancy? Like I said, I know people who have gone through 9 months of pregnancy and haven't gotten them, and I know people who have as well. And AGAIN, since you don't seem to get it, I AM NOT SAYING I WON'T GET STRETCH MARKS, I SAID WE WILL SEE IF I GET THEM OR NOT. Goodness! Now, have a good day, I don't know how old you are, but if you say "why would I argue with a 19 year old" then you must be old enough to NOT argue with me. So go away and take care of your kid.

Also, stop showing as anonymous, it's cowardly and immature. Oh, and once again, you're telling me not to rely on what I hear... SO WHY SHOULD I RELY ON WHAT YOUJ'RE TELLING ME. Psycho.

    2. also, you're SO sure I have stretch marks, but you don't know anything about my skin. You're so awesome. Have a nice night. Stop talking to me and go attend to your family. BYE

    3. wow, "anonymous", why don't you just STFU? my sister in law has NO stretch marks AT ALL. If you went through the whole pregnancy, that must mean you have at least one child, unless it passed. In other words, why don't you get your fat ass of the internet and go take care of your fucking kid! Stop trying to push your bullshit on other people. Nobody gives a shit what you have to say. You are very immature and I feel very sorry for your child. I sincerely hope your kid does NOT turn out like you. We have enough blights on our society.
